Since 2014, we have been bringing live stand up comedy to Inverness.
We have had wonderful success in many venues and hope to see more success in the future. Our gigs don’t just stop in Inverness, we have performed all around the Highlands and Islands. We absolutely love the craft of stand up comedy and hope you come along to enjoy a show!
Our comedy collectives in town
The Comedy Bothy – Established 2014
The Comedy Bothy is the longest standing comedy club in Inverness. Finding it’s home in the amazing Tooth & Claw venue on Baron Taylor’s Street. This gig is run by long time organiser and performer Kieran Lochore.
Monthly Live Event
With acts found locally, in and around the Highlands and even beyond. The Bothy has been some truly incredible talent and has been the main fixture of the scene in Inverness. These gigs take place upstairs in their main performance space.
Wednesday Open Mic
The Comedy Bothy also hosts an open mic, this night is for performers to test out new material or polish their current material. This gig usually happens on the third Wednesday of every month, taking place downstairs.
The Tooth & Claw, Inverness
The Tooth & Claw is an amazing music venue who are huge supporters of the comedy scene in Inverness. They have been hosting The Comedy Bothy for over a year now and provide and amazing space for performers.
Comedy Upstairs
Started in February 2024, Comedy Upstairs has been a fantastic success. Upstairs Inverness are known for bringing high quality entertainment to the Highlands and this gig is no exception.

Upstairs is a vibrant and exciting venue in town, providing an amazing space for a variety of shows. You can catch Comedy Upstairs monthly from this wonderful venue.
Rose Street Comedy
The newest gig to come out of Inverness, Rose Street Foundry returned this year with a mission to bring all kinds of new and exciting entertainment to Inverness.
Rose Street Foundry
Rose Street Foundry provides a lot of variety for the punters. With games and activities downstairs and a performance space upstairs and downstairs. Rose Street have really been pushing out the boat when it comes to bringing live entertainment.
