    The Highland Comedy scene is bringing new and exciting shows!

    The Highland Comedy Scene has been growing from strength to strength with new talent emerging and exciting new opportunities. Last year, the Mikeysline 10th Anniversary Comedy tour was a massive success raising £6,500 for Mikeysline and raising money for High Life Highland. The comminated in an incredible show at Eden Court’s OneTouch theatre.

    What’s happening in Inverness?

    Inverness has had a comedy scene growing for well over a decade with the Comedy Bothy being the longest running club established in 2014.

    Monster Comedy

    Monster Comedy is a new comedy club started by Marc Ross and Robert MacGregor. They have put on gigs around Scotland with La Tortilla Asesina being their home with a string of successfully gigs under their belt. Their show is a dinner and a show deal, where you can get some incredible food from La Tortilla Asesina and some brilliant live comedy.

    Inverness Comedy Club

    The Inverness Comedy Club launched in 2024, moving from The Market Bar to The Tooth & Claw, created by Matt Black, Tom Cairns and Stephen Clark. Their shows are absolutely incredible and they not to be missed!

    Bringing some truly amazing headliners from down south they have had banger after banger, with many happy punters.

    Comedy Upstairs

    Making a return to the scene, Comedy Upstairs at Upstairs Inverness. This gig is run and organised by Mike Hendry. Started in 2024, Comedy Upstairs has many successful nights with local comedy acts and headliners like the brilliant Nik Copin.

    The Comedy Bothy

    Established in 2014 and ran and organised by Kieran Lochore. The Bothy’s roots go back to Hootenanny’s upstairs Madhatter, the ground floor of Hoots and Bothy second floor. It’s new home since 2023 is the supportive and amazing Tooth & Claw music venue. With monthly live gigs upstairs in T&C, Keiran also has a fortnightly Comedy Open Mic in the downstairs.

    The Comedy Rev

    Another returning comedy show, this gig is ran by Kieran Lochore and Mike Hendry. Originally started by long time friend of Mike and Kieran Zander. He is a wonderful performer who is missed at the gigs even after years!

    The Comedy Rev was started as an open mic night at the now closed Revolution Inverness. This has found a new home at The Innes Bar with their first gig coming in the 29th of May.
