La Tortilla Asesina’s upstairs events room provides us with the perfect setting for our night of live entertainment. With a warm atmosphere and a truly unique room for a live show. It really has a wonderful energy to it and we can not wait to put on an absolutely legendary show for you!
A fine gentleman called Stephen Clark will be hosting the show. Stephen brings a truly one of a kind style of hosting to the stage. A genuine, sincere and yet completely off the wall performer makes him a total delight to watch. He will keep you entertained and give the event a smooth flow.
Headlining is the man himself, Kieran Lochore. Kieran is a powerhouse of a performer, delivering the perfect show stopping performance. His musical stylings are brilliantly funny and endlessly creative. With a diverse catalogue of music he parodies, pulls inspiration or presents his very own world view through. Kieran is a performer through and you will love him!
Act 1
Opening the first act we have Mike Hendry. One of the organisers of this gig and of Comedy Upstairs.
Following him, John Burns! A published author, a committed performer and all round wonderful person. John brings an abstract form of stand up comedy with a wealth of experience from his one man shows. He is notably known for his performance as Aleister Crowley: A Passion for Evil.
Bring a close to the first act, we have the amazing Charyle McMillan. She will take you an absolute journey, from her upbringing in Texas to her Scottish roots here and her sideways look at the world.
Act 2
Opening the show, an outstanding performer, Robert MacGregor. Robert has such a brilliant stage presence and really puts in a 100% in every performance. We are very lucky to have such a talented performer on our show. He is also one half of Monster Comedy, going from strength to strength and a practically sold out show at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
Just when you thought the night could not get better, we have Mike Linnett! There is no better work to describe Mike Linnett than superlative! A wonderfully unique and captivating performer with such a genuine persona. Always a pleasure and never a chore with Mr Linnett.
Closing the second act, a performer who is an audience favorite, Tom Cairns. Tom is an outstanding performer, an one of a kind bloke and bloody talented on top of it! He brings a brutal style of comedy, takes no prisoners and slays every gig.
