Scott Christie live comedy night at Upstairs Inverness in July
Join Highland Comedy at Upstairs Inverness on Friday 31st July for a fantastic night of live stand-up comedy featuring Scottish comedian Scott Christie. If you’re looking for a comedy night in Inverness, this show brings together some of the best acts from across Scotland for an unforgettable evening of laughs.
Headlining the show is Scott Christie, a brilliant joke writer known for his absurd premises. With razor-sharp one-liners and expertly crafted misdirection. Nicknamed “Aberdeen’s Cereal Killer”, Scott delivers high joke density with strong setups and payoffs that keep audiences laughing throughout. His darkly daft humour has made him a favourite in comedy clubs across Scotland.
Hosting the evening is the ever-talented Cathy Cash, one of the Highland comedy scene’s most distinctive voices. Known for her unique blend of controlled chaos, Cathy is equally at home commanding a room as she is delivering her own hilarious material.
Joining them on the bill are:
Mike Linnett – creator of the wonderfully weird Wizard of Orkney, a live cartoon comedy experience combining animated and real-life performers in a uniquely entertaining show.
Robert MacGregor – one half of the comedy powerhouse Monster Comedy, bringing self-deprecating humour, quick-fire jokes and clever misdirection.
Kieran Lochore – founder of Inverness’s longest-running comedy night, The Comedy Bothy, and creator of the acclaimed show Fae Orkney Tae Oblivion. Kieran combines musical parody with sharp, crowd-pleasing material that has entertained audiences across Scotland.
And rounding out the line-up is show organiser Mike Hendry.
Join us at Upstairs Inverness, 14 Bridge Street, on Friday 31st July. Doors open at 7pm.
