Comedy Upstairs is the best night for stand up comedy in the Highlands by far. On Thursday the 28th of November, we promise to give you a live event with Comedy Upstairs. With our shows drawing out new audiences since February and they keep coming back for more. With a growing list of amazing performers. Our shows have proven that the Highlands and Islands have some truly talented performers. What makes our show such a success is the wonderful venue we are lucky enough to have host us, Upstairs Inverness.

Hailing from the beautiful Orkney Islands! Kieran has spent over a decade sharing his distinctive, whimsical style of musical comedy across the North of Scotland. Blending an eclectic range of musical genres. Kieran brings fresh energy to the stage with his guitar, delivering a delightful mix of clever song parodies and original tunes that are as entertaining as they are unique.

Known for his sharp wit and endearing stage presence. Kieran’s performances overflow with toe-tapping rhythms and hearty laughs, creating an unforgettable experience for all who attend. Meet Damo, a storyteller with a knack for transforming his experiences behind the wheel into laugh-out-loud tales. As a taxi driver navigating the winding roads and colourful characters of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Damo’s comedy draws from the quirks and surprises of everyday life in some of Scotland’s most rugged landscapes. With a warm wit and relatable humour, he brings audiences along for the ride. From sharing unforgettable encounters, late-night escapades, and the unique personalities he meets along the way.

Charley McMillan brings a very unique perspective to the show. Born in Scotland but brought up in America, Texas. She brings with her a sharp British wit with an American perspective. A truly astonishing performer and one we highly recommend for you lucky people!

Halde Pottinger has been a cornerstone of the comedy scene in the Highlands and Islands, where his dedication and hard work have paved the way for countless performers to explore the art of stand-up. His passion and support have been instrumental in building a vibrant community, inspiring new talent to take the stage.

Performing once again is Mike Hendry, one of the organisers of this wonderful gig.
